The 38th annual Northwest Council for Computer Education Conference (N.C.C.E.) is an outstanding opportunity to learn from experts and peers regarding the effective use of technology in schools! The Purpose of the NWESD Technology Leadership Center is to assess and prioritize the technology needs of school districts and to provide quality training and assistance to meet those needs in the classrooms and schools.

The Technology Leadership Center provides services to 35 school districts in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island and San Juan counties.
 
Our services include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing staff development and training in curricular, instructional and administrative applications of technology in education;

  • Facilitating long-range planning for technology in schools;

  • Providing technical assistance and support in distance learning, interactive video, online learning, etc.

  • Disseminating information on current and emerging technologies;

  • Linking schools with similar initiatives to encourage networking.  Providing other technical and program support. Supporting statewide school reform efforts
Our purpose is to provide leadership for administrators and educators in the use of instructional technology and aligning technology tools with the Washington state Essential Academic Learnings Requirements.
